Interlux Brightside Primer & Paint
If it's good enough for the high seas, it's good enough for bathroom remodeling!
Our Review
We ended up finding Brightside as we researched paints designed for high exposure to the elements. As we renovated our first floor bathroom, we needed a good way to protect the woodwork inside the shower stall.
Brightside is a one-part polyurethane designed for painting the outer deck of boats. As for handling the constant exposure to water, that certainly seemed to fit the bill! For more on that project click here.
Important note: We chose some products from West Marine that are suitable for protecting wooden boats ABOVE the waterline. This is an important distinguishing characteristic. We couldn't use paint from BELOW the waterline because it includes chemicals that deal with algae that you wouldn't want in your house.
