Millers Falls Hand Drill 2500B c. 1948-1956

Category: Sold

We've seen the 2500 but haven't seen many of these 2500B models. They are certainly rare and beautiful.

Miller's Falls red, smooth-as-butter hand drill with the rosewood handle made in Greenfield, Mass. Single speed. Steel frame; mahogany finished hardwood head and crank handle; solid drive gear is die cast and finished in red enamel; three-jaw chuck adjustable 0 to 1/4 inch. The successor to No. 2500 M-S, but drive gear is solid, rather than pierced. No rust...a truly gorgeous speciman.

Could use a gentle cleaning as it was found in a dusty drawer and it hasn't been touched since the late 50's or 60's. We'll leave it up to the new owner to decide if they want to use water or a soft cloth or their own method.
From 1948-1956. You can read more about these drills here.
