The Estate Sale

This is a rare collectible from Avon...a Couterines Lipstick Doll still in its box with it's little bag for the purse tucked into the box with it. She is so charming! She doesn't look like she is in her 50's or 60's...but she must be. We don't know much about her except in my research I have only found two others (and I research a LOT!)

eBay sold her 3 months ago with no box or original case for $100. And eBay tends to bring 1/3 to 1/2 of the typical market price. Here's what that one looked like.

Sorry, not as beautiful as ours with her "Holly GoLightly" hat and necklace :)
However...we'll price her "mint in box" for same. (We have a system...a percentage of real market value...this isn't our business. It's our sanity and for funding an oven we can actually use!)
